Institutional information states that the institute has been operating in Mangalore since 2010.
Unlike conventional degree colleges affiliated with a state university, the institute identifies itself as an independent institute and states that it is not associated with government bodies or universities. The institute also offers specialised software and industry-oriented training programmes.
Available current course listings classify its offerings primarily as UG diploma and certificate programmes, with diploma courses generally ranging from one to two years and certificate courses from one to eight months. This makes the institute more appropriate for students seeking specialised skill-based education in creative and digital-media fields rather than a conventional university degree pathway.
