CIGMA India, Bangalore is a career guidance, counselling and training organisation based in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. CIGMA stands for Career Information & Guidance Movement for All. According to its current official website and organisational profile, CIGMA India was founded in 2007 with the objective of helping students make informed decisions about education and careers.
Unlike a conventional college, CIGMA India does not operate as a degree-granting institution affiliated with a university. Its activities are centred on career counselling, career assessment, study-skills training, memory training and educational guidance. The organisation provides services intended to help students understand different academic and career pathways.
CIGMA India conducts programmes such as career guidance seminars, workshops, career assessments, memory-training programmes and leadership-oriented training. Its official website also lists career tests, including Alpha, Beta and Gamma assessments, designed to support career exploration.
The organisation is located on R.V. Road in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. Its current organisational profile identifies Bengaluru as its headquarters and describes CIGMA India as an education-management organisation.
CIGMA India therefore serves a different purpose from a traditional college: rather than awarding university degrees, it focuses on career information, counselling and student-development programmes.
