A.S.S. Narendra Physical Education College is a private unaided institution located at Kalebagh on Jamkhandi Road in Bijapur (Vijayapura), Karnataka. The college was established in 2007 and focuses primarily on professional education in the field of Physical Education. Available institutional records identify it as an affiliated college of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi.
The institution's principal academic programme is the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.), a professional undergraduate programme designed for students pursuing careers related to physical education, sports instruction, fitness education and teaching. NCTE's official recognised-institution records list Narendra College of Physical Education, Vijayapur, as a private institution offering B.P.Ed. and record an approved intake of 100 students in the relevant recognition entry.
The college is therefore different from a conventional Arts, Science or Commerce degree college. Its academic focus is specialised around physical education and teacher-training-related professional education. Historical institutional data also identifies a Certificate Course in Yoga alongside the B.P.Ed. programme.
The institution is situated within Vijayapura city, with its listed campus address at Kalebagh, Jamkhandi Road. This location places the college within the educational environment of the district while maintaining its specialised focus on physical education.
Available historical infrastructure information identifies a boys' hostel and a campus area of approximately 4.2 acres. Older institutional data also records facilities connected with physical-education training. Because these details are from historical datasets rather than a current official campus inventory, they should be treated cautiously when assessing present-day facilities.
The college's regulatory recognition through NCTE is particularly important because B.P.Ed. is a teacher-education programme subject to professional regulatory requirements. Its university affiliation provides the academic framework for the degree programme.
With a specialised academic focus, more than a decade of operation and professional recognition for B.P.Ed., A.S.S. Narendra Physical Education College is a relevant option for students interested specifically in Physical Education.
